I came here for the first time per I was in Tampa for work purposes. I have to say the service was amazing! I got the catfish number 9 grilled, with coleslaw and a side of hush puppies ! I have to say I loved the sweetness within the coleslaw and the fluffiness of the hush puppies. I was not fond of the catfish so I returned it, but the lady was so pleasant she allowed me to switch it for fried shrimp and gave me a treat (red velvet cake) !! This was super sweet and showed amazing customer service! Will look forward to returning in the future!
The food here is off the chain! The portion size is very good You get your books worth that's for sure! Still getting familiar with the employees and staff that are there I've only been there a few times but it's definitely with the place I like to go to when I got the extra money to eat out.
Visiting from out of state and the associate at my hotel recommended your establishment. Everything was perfect! The quantity and quality is outstanding. As a person who is selective where I get seafood from, this is definitely my # 1 place the next time I'm in the Sarasota area. ( I ordered the #12.. Catfish ,shrimp,yellow rice and added a side of scallops)
I've been passing this place the last 2 weeks on my way to my new job. Finally stopped today, thought what the heck......sooooo glad I did. I got the fried shrimp platter. Delicious. Actually better than the last few "fancier " places I've been lately. And plenty of them. Sam's does not skimp! Came with fries and whatever seasonings they use they are yummy !! Also a drink, sweet tea which was perfect as well. Y'all know how sometimes it it way too sweet or not sweet enough? I was absolutely % pleasantly surprised at this gem. Will absolutely be back.....most likely once a week lol. Next I'm trying the gumbo!
This establishment runs like a well oiled machine! 100% impressed! Staff is very polite, work efficiently, and work very well together. Food is made fresh, seasoned, & affordable! Establishment is super clean (including restrooms) I can not praise them enough. We were in the area looked on Google Maps and saw that they had great reviews and great prices and they did not disappoint! Definitely agree with all the positive reviews. Hope to try other menu items when I'm in town again. Keep doing the great work yall already do.
Our food was great! We had some Chicken Alfredo and Shrimp Alfredo. Had a large order that they got ready super quickly and we're very friendly! They did forget a drink and a baked potato, but everything else was there.
